Experienced Front End Developer - Angular

We're seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our engineering team working on our dual-sided marketplace platform. You'll work closely with our backend developers to create seamless user experiences for both buyers and sellers while maintaining high performance and scalability standards. 

Core Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular) that integrate seamlessly with our backend services. The system is currently using Angular 19

- Optimise application performance through efficient rendering techniques, lazy loading, and state management

- Implement and maintain design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across the platform

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following team standards and best practices

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers

- Work with UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces

- Implement analytics, monitoring, and error tracking to maintain high quality standards


Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development (Angular)

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3

- Expert knowledge of at least one modern frontend framework (Angular)

- Experience with any state management solutions

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and modern frontend architecture patterns

- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment


Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience designing for marketplace platforms

- Understanding of design handoff processes and developer collaboration

- Knowledge of frontend development principles and limitations

- Experience with data-driven design decisions and A/B testing

- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)

- Background in conducting user interviews and synthesizing feedback

Project Scope

You'll be working on:

- Redesigning key user journeys for both buyers and sellers

- Improving the onboarding experience for new users

- Creating a unified design system across all platform interfaces

- Optimizing conversion-critical pages and flows

- Designing new features based on user feedback and business requirements
