DAB is an Australian Chartered Accounting firm with a strong local presence and a dedicated team in the Philippines. We provide high-level accounting, tax, and business advisory services, ensuring our clients achieve financial clarity and business success.

We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join our elite team. If you have a minimum of 5 years of professional and/or commercial experience, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to independently reconcile profit and loss and balance sheets while identifying and resolving issues, then this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to your Client Manager you will be able to:
• Complete end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping for multiple clients.
• Independently reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare and finalize BAS, IAS, and financial reports with accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• Provide value-added insights on financial performance and business improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Australian taxation requirements.
• Work closely with senior managers and Australian-based teams.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional or commercial accounting roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Xero, MYOB, and OCR software (Dext, Hubdoc, etc.).
• Proven ability to work independently, identify issues, and implement solutions.
• Confident understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements.
• High attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise directly with Australian clients.

Remuneration and work schedule
Salary: 60,000 PHP / month
Annual Leave: 20 days
Working Hour: 7:00AM-4:00PM PHT
