About the Role
Mah Melanin is a growing, culturally inspired brand featured in Sam’s Club and other major retail spaces. As we scale, we need a sharp, strategic, and highly execution-driven Executive Assistant & Brand Operations Coordinator to serve as the second-in-command to our founder.

This role requires strategic thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on execution in marketing, operations, and brand growth.

This is not just an assistant role—you will be expected to think critically, suggest new ideas, and help scale the brand forward. If you’re a proactive thinker who loves solving problems, taking ownership, and executing efficiently, this role is for you.

???? You’ll help run the day-to-day operations while also brainstorming ideas to expand and scale Mah Melanin.

Key Responsibilities (Hands-On Execution + Strategic Thinking)
? Execute key branding, marketing, and administrative tasks daily.
? Create & design marketing graphics (social media posts, flyers, digital assets).
? Edit and modify images using Photoshop & Illustrator for brand materials.
? Write, schedule, and manage LinkedIn posts – handle engagement & outreach.
? Create and manage Facebook Pages & Groups – set up branding, engage with audiences.
? Format and send email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp/Klaviyo.
? Update and organize documents (Google Drive, Dropbox, Asana).
? Respond to emails and coordinate brand outreach (vendors, partners, customers).
? Assist in organizing brand promotions and product launches with clear execution plans.
? Think ahead & anticipate needs – help plan, strategize, and solve problems before they arise.

Additional Responsibilities
? Support in brainstorming new marketing strategies and brand growth ideas.
? Research industry trends and provide insights for business scaling.
? Help develop workflows and improve internal efficiency.
? Coordinate new projects, partnerships, and collaborations.
? Create short video intros

Skills & Qualifications (Strategic + Hands-On Execution)
? Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & Canva (graphic design is required).
? Experience setting up & managing Facebook Pages & Groups.
? LinkedIn marketing experience (or willingness to learn fast).
? Ability to write and schedule LinkedIn posts & email marketing campaigns.
? Experience with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar email marketing tools.
? Strong organizational and execution skills – you complete tasks, not just plan them.
? Excellent written communication – you can draft clear, professional messages.
? Problem-solver who can think critically and suggest improvements.
? Tech-savvy & proactive – you find solutions instead of waiting for them.
