Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor for a part-time remote role, with the opportunity to transition to full-time as the position develops. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of SMM7 and/or NRM2 (from RICS) and experience in groundworks or civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Upload and import bills of quantities into our software.
Create bills of quantities for lump sum tenders using SMM7/NRM2 standards.
Perform material take-offs from drawings or existing bills of quantities.
Develop sub-contractor package enquiries (e.g., for tarmac, paving contractors).
Issue buying lists to buyers and liaise regarding rate gathering.
Collate incoming material prices and update relevant spreadsheets.
Update site-specific material rates and apply them to projects in Cubit.
Measure drawings using Cubit, Agtek, and BlueBeam, focusing on foundations, drainage, services, hard and soft landscaping, and connections to existing highways.

Training:

The successful candidate should be prepared for an initial training week requiring 40 hours (20 hours paid and 20 hours unpaid) to gain proficiency in our software (Cubit and Agtek).
Qualifications:

Knowledge or experience with SMM7 and/or NRM2 (from RICS).
Experience in groundworks or civil engineering is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with UK construction practices.

Location: Fully Remote (knowledge of UK practices required)

Hours: 20 hours per week (with potential for full-time)

Salary: $150.00 per week (part-time, inclusive of 20 hours)
