The Employee Support Specialist is responsible for providing financial and credit card-related assistance to staff. This includes maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring employees have the necessary financial support to carry out their duties. The specialist will also be responsible for maintaining daily logs and offering 24-hour support, ensuring continuous financial coverage for employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Financial Support & Reporting:
- Maintain competency in spreadsheet applications like Excel to manage and update financial records.
- Perform daily arithmetic calculations to ensure accuracy in financial statements and reports.
2) Employee Credit Card Services:
- Assist employees with financial support related to their company credit cards.
- Provide daily credit card balances and updates to employees.
- Facilitate credit top-ups for employee cards as needed, ensuring minimal disruptions in workflow.
3) Daily Operations & Record Keeping:
- Maintain a daily log of all transactions and financial support activities.
- Ensure that credit card transactions are tracked, verified, and updated promptly.
4) 24-Hour Employee Support:
- Provide financial and credit card support during overnight hours to ensure 24-hour coverage for all employees.
- Address any credit-related inquiries or issues that arise during off-hours, maintaining clear communication with employees.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for creating, updating, and managing spreadsheets.
- Strong arithmetic and numerical skills for financial calculations and error-checking.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and addressing their financial needs.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, to provide 24-hour support
