JOB OVERVIEW

Key Responsibilities
1. Weekly Spam Audits
Conduct weekly spam audits of cold email campaigns to identify issues affecting deliverability (includes DKIM Configuration, DMARC Setup, SPF Records, SOA Serial Number Format, SOA Expire Value, BLACKLISTING Status, DOMAIN Blacklisting Status, SMTP, etc.)
Use email deliverability tools (e.g., GlockApps, Mail-Tester, SpamAssassin, MXToolbox, Smartlead Deliverability) to test for spam triggers.
Evaluate email content, subject lines, formatting, and links to ensure compliance with spam regulations.
2. Email Reputation Management
Monitor and maintain the sender reputation of email domains and IPs.
Track sender scores using tools like Google Postmaster Tools, Sender Score, and Microsoft SNDS.
Implement strategies to warm up email accounts and IP addresses for optimal deliverability.
Resolve issues related to blacklisting and spam complaints.
3. Deliverability & Inbox Placement Analysis
Create an Inbox Placement test and monitor inbox placement rates and spam folder occurrences.
Analyze bounce rates, open rates, and click-through rates to assess email performance.
Ensure proper email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
4. Email Infrastructure Setup & Management
Create 15 email accounts per month with IMAP and SMTP enablement.
Set up 5 domains per month, configuring DNS records including DMARC, DKIM, SPF, MX, and CNAME (for custom tracking domains).
Connect and enable warm-up for 15 emails per month using Smartlead.
Configure and manage email account filtering and forwarding settings to a designated email address.
Troubleshoot and resolve email deliverability and domain reputation issues.
5. Spam Trigger Identification & Resolution
Create Spam Diagnosis based on current active campaigns on Smartlead, including Spam Check Scores, Number of Bounces, Spam Report Analysis, Blacklist Checking, ESP IP Reputation.
Identify common spam triggers (e.g., spammy words, excessive links, poor HTML structure) and inform the team accordingly for the amendments and resolution.
Recommend improvements to email templates, personalization, and sending practices.
6. Reporting & Optimization
Provide weekly reports on spam audit results, email reputation status, and key insights.
Include the implemented changes to address spam and deliverability issues.
Collaborate with marketing and management teams to recommend additional solutions to refine cold email strategies based on audit findings.

Qualifications & Skills
Must-Have:
Experience in email deliverability, spam filtering, or cold email outreach.
Strong knowledge of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
Familiarity with email deliverability tools (Smartlead Deliverability, GlockApps, Postmaster Tools, MXToolbox, etc.).
Understanding of anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL).
Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and reporting.
Attention to detail and ability to identify patterns in spam-related issues.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience or familiarity with Smartlead cold email outreach tool
Technical knowledge of email servers, IP warm-up, and domain reputation management.
