Elite Video Editor for High-Converting Video Ads (Full-Time, Long-Term)

We are a fast-growing e-commerce company specializing in direct-response video sales letters (VSLs) We serve a variety of niches, with a strong focus on health and beauty products for mature audiences. Our video ads rely heavily on strong hooks, persuasive storytelling, and compelling visuals that drive sales.


What We’re Looking For:
We need a dedicated, resourceful, and talented video editor who can consistently deliver high-converting video ads.

All scripts are provided for the editors, as well as access to our library of content.

If you understand how to grab attention in the first 3 seconds, maintain engagement, and guide viewers toward a clear call-to-action, we want to hear from you. This is a long-term position with constant work available, not a one-off gig.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Output: Produce at least 5 minutes of polished, finished video footage every day. This includes sourcing the footage, creating subtitles, and editing.
Sourcing Footage: Independently find and source all necessary footage from platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Storyblocks, Canva, etc. Creativity is essential; we have limited original footage, and you’ll need to fill in the gaps with found content.
High-Converting Edits: Implement strong hooks, sharp pacing, meaningful cuts, and persuasive on-screen text/graphics. Find 3D animations, documentary-style clips, and sequences that evoke the right emotions for each section of the script (e.g., darker scenes for problem statements, happy scenes for positive outcomes).
Unlimited Revisions: Be open to feedback and willing to refine and improve your edits as many times as needed until the video meets our standards.
Systematic Production: Follow our streamlined production system. Expect to produce top-quality videos at a rapid pace without sacrificing quality. We provide clear instructions, scripts, and guidelines, but you must be confident in your ability to deliver final videos without extensive hand-holding.
Training and Growth:
Weekly Feedback Calls: We will review your work with you regularly so you can rapidly develop into a top VSL expert.

Requirements:
Experience: At least 2 years of professional video editing experience, preferably with direct-response marketing, VSLs, or e-commerce video ads.
Technical Skills: Proficient with Premiere Pro, After Effects (or equivalent), color grading, sound design, motion graphics, etc.
Marketing Acumen: Understand how to create compelling hooks, keep viewers engaged, and use editing to guide them toward conversion. You should be comfortable with iterating multiple hooks for testing.
Work Ethic & Communication: Strong work ethic, reliable internet, ability to meet strict daily output requirements, and open communication are essential. We will keep you busy non-stop if you meet the standards.
