Editor for Youtube Channel

JOB DETAILS:

Pay
USD $250/week ($1,000 every 28 days)

*Note that the workload outlined below is far less than a 40 hour work week. It takes me approx 10 hours to edit a video and I’m not a professional editor.

This position will suit a candidate that is willing to start with a light workload, work at an above average pay rate for that work (if calculated hourly). The candidate will need to grow with business to increase the quality and quantity of work over time, in exchange for additional pay.

Please send me a link to videos that are relevant to what I'm looking for...Long form talking head videos. If you don't have any of those, please send me what you think would be the most relevant work you've done. If your work is a good match....THEN I will read your email. Please don't send me all your work. I don't have time to wade through files on your Google Drive that aren't relevant. I won't be reviewing short form videos, or graphic design work.

The Work
Deliverable:
1 video per week
Formats:
10-15 minute talking head education, or
30-45 minute remote interviews, similar workload for both formats
B-Roll consists of 30-40 slides per video (supplied to editor in png, or MP4 format)
Minimal color correction (should take less than 30 seconds)
Run audio track through AI software (currently using Adobe Podcast)
Script or transcript available for editors use (if needed)
Add titles, sound effects, and occasional music
A Roll
Remove pauses and mistakes
Zoom in and out

Future workload and pay will increase within 12 months up to a ceiling of 40 hours per week (ie increasing the number of videos / adding a video shorts format)
Graphic design skills are a plus (potential to increase job scope and pay if the work expands to thumbnails and B Roll slide design)
I currently use Canva for all graphic design. Familiarity with Canva is a plus, but not essential.

Next Step: Message me with a link to your portfolio of LONG FORM VIDEO EDITING. I won't be reviewing short form, or graphic design work. Specifically, I'm looking for examples of work that demonstrate you would be skillful at editing talking head long form videos.

Paid Test Project

Use the files provided to produce 2 videos.

Deliverables:
1/ Replicate current format
Use the sample video file as a guide
Duration: 1 minute

2/ Create your own version
Apply your creativity to produce an alternative version
Duration: 1 minute

Turnaround Times:
First Draft: 48 Hours
Second Draft: 24 Hours

Pay:
$50 for the 2 edited files (1 minute each)
