We’re seeking a detail-oriented eCommerce Web Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. He/she will be responsible for managing our product catalog while ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance on our website. This role requires a meticulous individual who is passionate about eCommerce and dedicated to enhancing the customer experience through rigorous QA processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Merchandising:
Optimize product visibility, placement, and categorization based on customer preferences and emerging trends.
Quality Assurance (QA):
Conduct comprehensive QA audits of the website, including testing all links, buttons, and navigation to ensure proper functionality.
Verify that all content—including product descriptions, images, and pricing—is accurate, up-to-date, and grammatically correct.
Identify and report bugs or inconsistencies and work with development teams to ensure timely resolutions.
Develop and maintain QA documentation, including test cases and checklists for ongoing website audits.
UX Optimization:
Collaborate with developers/designers to enhance website navigation, layout, and usability, ensuring an intuitive shopping experience.
A/B Testing & Data Analysis:
Conduct A/B tests and analyze data to refine product placement, promotional strategies, and page layouts to maximize sales.
Trend Analysis:
Monitor product performance, identify emerging trends, and recommend adjustments to the product offering.
Sales and Conversion Optimization:
Implement data-driven strategies to improve conversion rates and overall website performance.
Competitor Analysis:
Research competitor websites to uncover new merchandising opportunities and identify product gaps.
Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure product information, images, and promotions are consistently updated.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising and quality assurance roles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality assurance.
