We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team and bring compelling advertising concepts to life. In this role, you will be working closely with our creative strategists to produce high-quality video ads for various products targeting specific demographics. Your ability to craft engaging, emotionally resonant video content will play a crucial role in driving the success of our ad campaigns across platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Meta.
Key Responsibilities:
Ad Creation & Editing: Transform provided scripts, visuals, and concepts into high-impact video ads tailored to different target audiences (Teens, Young Adults, Adults, etc.). Ensure that the pacing, visuals, and emotional appeal align with the script and creative strategy.
Dynamic Creative Testing (DCT): Edit multiple variations of ads (3-4 distinct ads per marketing angle), focusing on testing different hooks and visual styles. Collaborate with creative strategists to ensure consistency in the execution of different ad frameworks.
Audience Understanding: Analyze the target audience's preferences by reviewing top-performing videos on platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and
Visual Storytelling: Focus on crafting narratives that appeal to viewers’ emotions and desires, using B-roll, transitions, music, and sound effects to enhance the overall story. Apply creative strategies like before/after scenes, split screens, and other engaging elements.
Hook Development: Nail the first few seconds of each video by creating compelling hooks that grab attention, followed by a structured ad flow including problem identification, product demo, and call to action.
Retention Optimization: Keep the viewer’s attention with fast-paced editing, quick scene transitions (every 1-2 seconds), and engaging B-roll. Maintain visual interest with techniques like zooming, cutting, and adding dynamic captions or text overlays.
Audio Production: Utilize Eleven Labs or other tools to generate voiceovers that align with the target audience’s voice. Ensure the audio is clear, engaging, and synchronized with the visuals.
Collaboration: Work closely with creative strategists to ensure that the vision for each ad is realized. Adapt and implement feedback to continually improve the creative output.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in advertising or social media content.
Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Strong understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Meta) and their respective ad formats.
Ability to tailor video pacing and editing style to different target audiences (Teens, Young Adults, Adults, etc.).
Familiarity with tools like Eleven Labs for audio generation, and the ability to source high-quality clips from platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and
Strong attention to detail and an eye for visually compelling content.
Knowledge of human emotions and motivations, with the ability to apply this understanding to video content.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with dynamic creative testing (DCT).
Familiarity with video export settings for different platforms.
Proficiency in using motion graphics templates (e.g., MOGRT files) for TikTok-style text overlays.
Experience in working with influencers or creating influencer-style content.
