Job Description:
The Digital Marketing assistant is responsible for optimizing and maintaining all digital marketing platforms, including SEO, SEM, e-commerce, and enhancing user experience across our B2B and B2C channels.
Accountable for:
Online Presence Management: Ensure our brand is represented accurately and engagingly across all online platforms, including reviews, directories, and social media.
Social Media and Content Creation: Develop and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok, as well as maintain a Pinterest account with regular activity.
Website Optimization: Maintain and enhance our B2B WordPress site and B2C Shopify site, including creating new pages, updating existing content, and ensuring a fresh and dynamic user experience.
SEO and SEM Campaigns: Implement and manage search campaigns, optimize site keywords, drive backlink campaigns, and improve overall site performance.
E-commerce Catalogue Management: Oversee the e-commerce catalogue, SKU management, content optimization, and promotional activities to enhance online merchandising efforts.
Customer Experience: Manage consumer support through Shopify using the HubSpot ticketing system, optimize site navigation, and implement content updates.
Design and Video Editing: Work on design tasks and video editing to produce high-quality content.
HubSpot Mastery: Build landing pages, automated email campaigns, and schedule social media posts within HubSpot, ensuring a seamless marketing workflow.
Experience and Qualifications:
Marketing or business degree/diploma preferred.
2-3 years of experience as a Digital Marketing Officer or similar role.
Proficient in HubSpot, WordPress, Shopify, and social media platforms.
Experience with design tools like Canva or Photoshop.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive, with a can-do attitude and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Self-driven with a hands-on approach to support the wider team.
Analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics or similar tools.
Highly organized with outstanding communication skills.
