Ecommerce API Developer (Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, Python, Bigquery)

Working Hours: 8 hours/day within the window of 10:00 PM - 10:00 AM PHT

We are seeking a skilled API Developer with robust experience in building, integrating, and maintaining APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, AWS, Postgres, BigQuery, and modern API development tools like Postman. Experience with Amazon Selling Partner API, Advertising API, and additional platforms such as TikTok, Walmart, eBay, and Shopify is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be fluent in English and able to work within the specified time zone to collaborate with our global teams.

API Development & Integration:
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python.
• Integrate with third-party APIs including Amazon Selling Partner API, Advertising API, and other e-commerce platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and performance bottlenecks.

Data Management:
• Work with BigQuery and Postgres databases to manage and optimize database performance.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and security.

Collaboration & DevOps:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git for version control.
• Utilize AWS services for scalable deployment and management of applications.
• Implement and maintain dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling.

Testing & Documentation:
• Create and execute unit and integration tests.
• Document code, API endpoints, and integration processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Platform Integration (Preferred):
• Experience with API integrations on platforms like TikTok, Walmart, eBay, and Shopify.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new APIs and integration tools

Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Python with strong hands-on experience in API development.
• Experience using Postman for API testing and documentation.
• Familiarity with Amazon Selling Partner API and Advertising API.
• Proficiency in working with BigQuery, Postgres, and handling large datasets.
• Working knowledge of AWS services for application deployment.
• Experience with Git version control and modern DevOps practices.
• Competence in dbt or similar data transformation tools.

Additional Skills:
• Experience with additional e-commerce, marketplaces or social media platform APIs (e.g., TikTok, Walmart, eBay, Shopify) is a significant plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Communication & Availability:
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work 8 hours/day within the hours of 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM PHT to align with our operational needs.
