We’re looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant with a passion for eCommerce and Shopify to join our team. This role will report directly to the CEO and is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
Research, brainstorm, and create engaging social media content (Instagram,
Schedule posts and track performance to optimize engagement.
Assist with creating and editing content for paid ads, including video and graphic design.
Coordinate giveaways, collaborations, and influencer/UGC partnerships.
Shopify,
Maintain and update the Shopify store with new products, collections, and promo codes.
Implement markdowns, upsells, and other sales strategies on Shopify.
Update
Ensure the website reflects our brand standards and is up-to-date.
Analytics & Reporting
Pull and update analytics weekly from platforms like Google Analytics, Shopify, Klaviyo, and
Conduct market research to support social media, customer insights, and industry trends.
Operations & Coordination
Draft and set up blog posts in Shopify.
Assist with naming, organizing, and managing marketing assets and folders.
Manage and organize tasks using Asana or similar project management tools.
Affiliate Marketing & PR
Support affiliate marketing by reviewing and approving sales, editing commissions, and setting up payments.
Assist with press pitching and influencer outreach.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Growth Mindset: Eager to learn, adapt, and grow within the role.
Ecommerce Savvy: Proficient in Shopify with experience in updating products, themes, and running reports.
Top-Notch Creative Skills: Skilled in Canva, CapCut, Adobe CS, Figma, or similar tools for creating marketing assets.
Organized & Tech-Savvy: Strong organizational skills and experience with tools like Google Suite, Asana, or Click-Up.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably in fashion or retail.
Work Style:
We’d meet via Zoom or Google Hangouts at the start of the week, and I'll provide deliverables, and you’d go out on your own and make it happen! We've also got a collaborative slack channel, and access to all the apps needed. Yes, there may be last minute requests, as my business is dynamic and multifaceted. I’m looking for someone self-directed and able to figure out how to make things happen and problem solve.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary of $5-$7USD per hour, depending on experience.
