We are looking for a results-driven E-commerce Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and success of e-commerce initiatives. This role includes managing the setup and optimization of e-commerce stores, ensuring seamless operations, and delivering exceptional online shopping experiences. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing projects related to online retail operations, platform setup, marketing campaigns, and website enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
E-commerce Store Setup:
-Plan, design, and implement new e-commerce stores using platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
-Configure product categories, filters, and attributes to enhance user experience.
-Ensure proper integration of payment gateways, shipping methods, and third-party tools or plugins.
-Coordinate with developers and designers to create a visually appealing and functional online store.
Project Planning & Execution:
-Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for e-commerce campaigns and platform updates.
-Ensure smooth migration of data, if applicable, such as customer information, inventory, and orders.
Team Coordination:
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, design, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
-Act as the central point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the store setup and ongoing operations.
Platform Optimization:
-Oversee the maintenance and performance of e-commerce platforms to improve speed, reliability, and user experience.
-Optimize store design and functionality based on customer feedback and analytics.
-Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, and revenue to evaluate store performance.
Use insights to recommend and implement improvements.
Vendor Management:
-Coordinate with third-party vendors, developers, and service providers for timely delivery of solutions.
Risk Management:
-Identify potential risks or obstacles in store setup and operations, implementing proactive solutions to mitigate them.
Market Research:
-Stay updated on e-commerce trends, platform features, and competitor strategies to inform project planning and innovation.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, project management, or a related field.
-Proven experience in e-commerce project management or a similar role, with hands-on experience in setting up and launching e-commerce stores.
-Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) and their technical capabilities.
-Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
-Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
-Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
