E-commerce Accountant - US Tax Expert (Long-Term)

Responsibilities:

Expert QuickBooks Online and TurboTax use: Manage all accounting functions within QuickBooks Online, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. Utilize TurboTax to prepare and file accurate and timely federal and state tax returns.
US Tax Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of US tax law, specifically for e-commerce businesses.
Company Law Knowledge: Be familiar with US company law, particularly regulations in California and Delaware, as they pertain to our business operations.
E-commerce Acumen: Demonstrate a solid understanding of e-commerce business models and their unique accounting and legal considerations.
Financial Advisor: Provide valuable financial advice and insights to support our business decisions and growth strategies.
Proactive Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with our team, addressing accounting and legal questions effectively.

Qualifications:

Proven Expertise: Extensive experience as an accountant, with a strong focus on e-commerce businesses.
QuickBooks Online Master: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential.
TurboTax Proficiency: Experience and proficiency in using TurboTax for business tax preparation.
US Tax Law Proficiency: Deep knowledge of US tax laws and regulations, including experience with filing tax returns.
Company Law Familiarity: Understanding of US company law, especially in California and Delaware.
Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proactive and Detail-Oriented: Ability to work independently and with meticulous attention to detail.
Long-Term Commitment: Desire to build a long-term working relationship with our company.
CPA Certification (Preferred): Active Certified Public Accountant license is highly preferred.
