The E-Commerce Manager will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of E-Commerce strategies to achieve business objectives, including driving online sales, enhancing the customer experience, and expanding market reach. This role requires a dynamic individual with a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and an in-depth understanding of online business operations.
Primary Outcome 1: E-Commerce Strategy and Operations
Critical Key Tasks & Responsibilities performed to achieve this outcome
1. Develop and implement eCommerce strategies aligned with business goals, including online sales growth, customer experience improvement, and market expansion.
2. Manage and maintain the front-end and backend of multiple BigCommerce Enterprise sites (PTAU, PTNZ, CW) using Stencil CLI, HTML, and CSS. Knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, and Python scripting is advantageous.
3. Manage, develop, and maintain the front-end and backend of Maropost Neto site (OMA), including the shipping and freight matrix.
4. Ensure UX/UI design enhancements for functional, user-friendly sites optimised for conversions.
5. Monitor and improve site performance, ensuring high uptime and fast response times.
Primary Outcome 2: Systems Management and Integrations
Critical Key Tasks & Responsibilities performed to achieve this outcome
1. Manage and implement 3rd party apps, plugins, APIs, and system integrations, including Inventory Management, ERP (MYOB Advanced/Acumatica), Financial (Xero), Payment Gateways (eWay, Stripe, PayPal, Afterpay, Zippay), and more.
2. Oversee payment processing systems and ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other relevant security standards.
3. System administration of a Linux cPanel server, including security, firewall management (CSF), and backups using JetBackup and Backblaze.
Primary Outcome 3: SEO and Content Management
Key Tasks & Responsibilities performed to achieve this outcome
1. Lead SEO efforts using tools like SEMrush, ensuring all web content adheres to SEO best practices.
2. Develop, write, and edit web content, including blogs, landing pages, brand/category/product descriptions, ensuring accuracy and relevancy.
3. Coordinate and optimise content on various marketplaces, including eBay, MyDeal, Catch, and Amazon (Seller and Vendor).
Primary Outcome 4: Analytics and Optimisation

1. Use analytics tools like Google Analytics, Merchant, Search Console, BigQuery, Looker Studio, Power BI,
2. Generate reports, interpret data, and provide actionable insights to refine marketing strategies and site performance.
3. Continuously test and optimise website design, product presentation, pricing strategies, and promotional offers for improved conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
Primary Outcome 5: Technical and Creative Support

1. Manage domain names and DNS records (Cloudflare, BigCommerce).
2. Perform web scraping for competitor pricing analysis.
4. Maintain and enhance online forms (JotForm).

1. Coordinate with internal teams across Products, CRM, Marketing, IT, and Logistics to ensure seamless eCommerce operations.

Skills and Experience - Essential
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing eCommerce platforms.
Proficiency in managing BigCommerce Enterprise and Maropost Neto platforms.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and experience with Stencil CLI.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, PHP, and Python is a bonus.
• Solid understanding of payment processing systems and PCI DSS compliance.
• Strong UX/UI design and optimisation capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to stay organised, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills and Experience - Desirable
• Experience with marketplaces like eBay, Amazon, MyDeal, and Catch.
• Experience with digital analytics and SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio.
• Data-driven mindset with experience in web scraping, competitor analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent content creation and editing skills, with attention to detail.
Mandatory Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
