About Us
We're building a network of e-commerce and lead generation websites using Shopify & Wordpress. We need a lead developer to join our dynamic team and build and manage these sites. Role Overview
As a Web Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating, maintaining, customizing, and improving our WordPress and Shopify websites. Beyond traditional development, you’ll leverage modern no-code tools and automation platforms to create efficient workflows, integrate systems, and streamline our processes. The ideal candidate is a proactive thinker who plans thoroughly, starts efficiently, and iterates as needed while leaning on AI-powered tools to maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Skills
- Experienced in WordPress development, including installing and customizing themes and plugins.
- Skilled in using PHP for theme and template customization.
- Able to create custom post types, fields, and taxonomies for tailored functionality.
- Familiar with WordPress hooks, filters, and APIs for advanced features.
- Ensures sites are secure, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance.

Shopify Skills
- Proficient in Shopify theme development and customization using Liquid.
- Experienced in modifying themes, sections, and blocks to meet design needs.
- Skilled in integrating apps and APIs for added functionality.
- Ensures Shopify sites are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance and conversions.

Manage domains and hosting environments
- DNS settings
- email configuration

No-Code Tool Utilization
- Use platforms like Appsmith, Airtable, and other no-code tools to build functional web applications and internal tools.
- Automate workflows and create pipelines using Zapier, Make.com, and similar platforms
- Build tools to integrate AI into our workflow

Database Management
- Write and execute basic SQL queries to manage and analyze data.
- Ensure databases are backed up


AI Integration

Work confidently with tools like Cursor and VS Code using AI assistance to boost coding efficiency and quality.
Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance automation and user experiences.
Problem Solving & Innovation

Approach challenges methodically, plan solutions thoroughly, and adapt quickly as new information emerges.
Research and adopt new technologies to improve efficiency and functionality.


Qualifications & Skills

Required:

- WordPress - setup, optimisation, theme customisation. PHP knowledge beneficial
- Shopify - optimisation, development and customization. Some experience working with themes and liquid
- Basic understanding of SQL and the ability to write and debug queries.
- A good attention to detail - at the very beginning of your intro video please state "The code is 47”
- Excellent written and spoken English

Beneficial

- Experience with no-code tools like Appsmith, Airtable, etc.
- Knowledge of automation platforms such as Zapier and Make.com.
- Familiarity with hosting, DNS, and email configurations.
- Experience using Cursor, VS Code, or similar development environments with AI-assisted coding tools.
- You love coding, ai and technology
