Role Overview:
The Dispatch Virtual Assistant will play a pivotal role in managing real-time dispatch operations for a dynamic delivery service. Job Responsibilities:
Real-Time Monitoring:
- Use GPS tracking software to monitor driver locations and optimize routes dynamically.
- Ensure drivers follow the most efficient routes, accounting for time, traffic, and multiple delivery points.
Communication with Drivers and Clients:
- Maintain real-time communication via Signal App, providing updates on route changes, delivery priorities, and client requests. - Respond promptly to inbound messages and send outbound updates to ensure smooth operations.
Scheduling and Route Optimization:
- Assign delivery tasks based on proximity, urgency, and workload using mapping tools.
- Calculate and assign efficient routes to minimize time and cost while meeting hourly pay standards for drivers.
Customer Updates:
- Notify clients of delivery updates, including estimated times, delays, or cancellations via

Driver Support and Problem-Solving:
- Address unexpected situations like vehicle breakdowns, incorrect delivery addresses, or delays.

Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in GPS tracking software, routing tools, and Signal App for communication.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English with the ability to provide clear and professional instructions.
- Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making skills to resolve on-the-road issues and maintain smooth operations.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with changing schedules.
- Availability: Flexible to work between 5 PM and 12 AM EST, 5–7 days a week.
