We are looking for an experienced Director of eCommerce Logistics to manage and optimize the logistics and fulfillment operations for Chamelo’s growing global eCommerce business. This leadership role is vital to our continued success as we scale and expand internationally, ensuring our customers across multiple regions receive the highest level of service, efficiency, and delivery reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Global Logistics Strategy: Oversee the global logistics operations for Chamelo’s eCommerce business across key international markets, including the US, Canada, UK, EU, Middle East, and APAC, ensuring seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
Supply Chain Optimization: Design, implement, and manage supply chain strategies that enhance logistics efficiency, including inventory management, forecasting, order fulfillment, and distribution processes.
Inventory Management & Forecasting: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing stockouts. Leverage forecasting techniques to predict demand trends and adjust inventory levels accordingly to meet customer and business needs.
Third-Party Logistics Management: Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, fulfillment centers, and shipping partners, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products while managing costs and operational efficiency.
Data-Driven Performance Management: Utilize data to monitor key logistics performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and adjust processes to meet evolving customer needs and business demands.
Operational Leadership: Lead a global logistics team, ensuring effective coordination across different regions, driving improvements in order processing, shipping timelines, and inventory control.
Customer Experience Excellence: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service and marketing, to ensure logistics operations support a seamless customer journey and enhance brand loyalty.
Risk Management: Anticipate and address potential challenges in the logistics and supply chain process, such as shipping delays, stockouts, or supplier issues, developing contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes, leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies to drive cost reductions, optimize delivery performance, and increase customer satisfaction.
Global Expansion: Manage the logistics strategy for new market entries and international growth, ensuring Chamelo’s operations can scale to meet increasing demand in new regions.
Budget Management: Oversee logistics budgeting and cost control, ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient logistics solutions are implemented across markets while meeting service level agreements.

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in eCommerce logistics, supply chain management, or operations leadership, preferably in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) or retail space.
Proven experience in managing global logistics operations, including inventory management, forecasting, distribution, and fulfillment strategies across multiple regions.
Expertise in supply chain optimization and logistics technologies, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage third-party logistics relationships, including fulfillment centers and courier services, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions and improve logistics performance.
Leadership experience in managing and developing teams, with a collaborative and results-driven approach to global operations.
Excellent project management skills, with a focus on multi-tasking and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, or similar systems is a plus.
Familiarity with logistics management software and tools. Experience with Asana, Slack, or similar platforms is advantageous.
Fluent in English, with additional language skills considered a plus.
An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate and drive growth in a startup-like environment.
