Direct Response Copywriter

We are seeking a part-time copywriter on a project basis to join our copy and content team.

We are Whitesheep Digital, an Australian-based full-service SEO agency that helps businesses rank on Google and build websites. Our founders are SEO industry leaders who speak at SEMrush, and Search Engine Land and copywriters who worked for world-class copywriters like Sabri Suby.


The Opportunity:
We are seeking a versatile and results-driven Direct Response Copywriter & SEO Content Writer to join our dynamic team. In this hybrid role, you’ll create persuasive, action-oriented copy for direct response marketing campaigns while also developing SEO-optimized content that attracts and engages organic traffic. You’ll blend the art of conversion-focused writing with the science of SEO to drive both immediate action and long-term growth.


Direct Response Copywriting:
Craft compelling, conversion-focused copy for emails, landing pages, social media ads, sales funnels, and follow-up sequences.
Develop engaging headlines, hooks, and calls-to-action (CTAs) that drive measurable results.
Understand audience psychology and pain points to create copy that inspires action.
Collaborate with marketing, design, and strategy teams to align messaging with campaign goals.
Continuously test and optimize copy based on performance data and feedback.
SEO Content Design:
Write SEO-optimized content for website pages to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
Conduct keyword research and implement effective on-page SEO strategies.
Ensure content is informative, engaging, and aligned with user intent.
Develop content structures that enhance readability, user experience, and search engine visibility.
Stay up-to-date with SEO best practices, algorithm changes, and content trends.
