JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Digital PR Specialist who will help us boost our online presence, reputation, and visibility. You will be responsible for creating and implementing effective digital PR strategies or outreach plans as part of our wider digital marketing campaign.

You will work with the copywriting and marketing teams to develop and distribute creative and positive messages that will resonate with our target audiences and make bloggers and online journalists mention or link to our brand.

From day one, you will identify and act on opportunities to promote our brand by researching and sending pitches to the right point of contact for different online publications, magazines, industry news sites, and influential blogs.

You will report directly to the Digital PR Manager. Our ideal candidate must have proven experience creating digital PR strategies and developing newsworthy PR campaigns.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement effective digital PR strategies
-Establish and maintain relationships with influential individuals in digital media—online journalists, influencers, bloggers, etc.
-Creating and sending pitches to site owners, journalists, editors, etc. to get online press coverage
-Develop and maintain our media contact database and create relevant contact lists for our campaigns
-Identify the right influencers to work with on our campaigns, negotiate payments, assess the quality of content they create
-Gather PR campaign performance data and use these insights to create more effective future outreach plans
-Work with our copy and design teams to create compelling content and media kits for the campaigns
-Secure interviews with online publications and organize business profiling
-Use key metrics like impressions, click-through rates, social shares, and sales to measure the performance of your digital --campaigns and create reports

Requirements:
-At least 3 years of working as a Digital PR Specialist and achieving campaign KPIs
-Exceptional client management/communication skills
-Excellent research and writing skills with a portfolio of written work
-A bachelor’s degree in Public Relations or another related major
-Experience using outreach tools and platforms, like BuzzStream, HARO, BuzzSumo, Klear, or Ninja Outreach, is a plus
-Experience with SEO is preferred/a plus
