Digital PR Assistant

We’re excited to find a full-time Digital PR Assistant to join our team here at FATJOE!

Tasks:
- Conducting client and industry research to identify trends, competitors, and relevant keywords.
- Checking the news and social media regularly to find reactive news opportunities.
- Contributing to brainstorming and ideation sessions for PR campaigns.
- Assisting in the creation of targeted media lists using tools like Roxhill and Muckrack.
- Supporting the outreach team by finding coverage, turning unlinked brand mentions into links and following up on emails in the outreach software.
- Generating client reports and keeping up to date with which orders need to be submitted.
- Coordinating with writers and data specialists to ensure the timely and quality completion of pieces.
- Supporting general administrative tasks as needed to facilitate the smooth running of PR campaigns.

Skills Needed/Required:
- 3+ years of experience in Digital PR
- Basic knowledge of public relations principles and practices.
- Creativity in contributing fresh ideas to PR campaigns.
- Strong media list-building skills, including using media list software, building lists from scratch, and identifying new link opportunities
- Strong research skills for gathering and analyzing industry data and trends.
- Basic data handling and analysis skills, particularly for supporting research and reporting tasks.
- Ability to critique and evaluate writing for quality and alignment with campaign goals.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with PR tools (e.g., Roxhill, Muckrack, Ahrefs) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
