Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and drive business growth. You will work closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
Optimize website content, landing pages, and metadata for search engine visibility.
Perform technical SEO audits and recommend fixes to improve site health.
Build and execute link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.
Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
Stay up to date with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
Collaborate with content and marketing teams to align SEO strategies with business goals.
Conduct competitor analysis to identify new opportunities for growth.
Implement structured data markup (Schema) to improve search visibility.
Work closely with developers to ensure technical SEO best practices are followed.
Manage and optimize local SEO, including Google Business Profile and citation management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
Hands-on experience with website analytics and performance monitoring.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SEO purposes (preferred but not mandatory).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in content marketing, link building, and outreach strategies.
Knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in SEO, Google Analytics, or related fields is a plus.
Experience in e-commerce SEO or local SEO strategies.
Basic knowledge of PPC and digital marketing strategies.
