JOB OVERVIEW

General Job Description:

Work with the Content Manager to plan, draft, and analyze the success of all marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, as well as lead in the creation of a cohesive marketing strategy in order to build engagement with Adventure Life travelers.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Write original copy for marketing campaigns, including monthly newsletters, online website content, and email drip campaigns, that matches the Adventure Life brand style and voice
- Collaborate with travel industry suppliers/partners for copy and assets on cooperative campaigns
- Collaborate with the Content Manager and marketing staff to grow the company’s network of travelers and followers
- Assist with general marketing campaign strategy and planning according to industry trends
- Monitor analytics and metrics to gauge success of marketing efforts and report on prospect engagement and ROI for use in data-driven decision-making
- Assist with campaigns and outreach to existing alumni, which may include mailers, webinar opportunities, YouTube video production and other events
- Google Ads and paid social media ads optimization and monitoring with Content Manager (depends on experience)
- Refresh and utilize photo and video assets across website as new assets become available.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube
- Computer literacy including familiarity with Google Suite tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to produce quality written and visual content tailored to a target audience

Preferred Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in marketing or related field
- Knowledge of basic HTML for templated email production
- Experience with graphic design, photo/video editing, and publishing
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Hubspot marketing platforms
- 2+ years of relevant marketing role experience
- Understanding of SEO best practices and web traffic metrics/analytics
- Proficiency in Google Analytics/GA4 and GoogleAds a plus

This is a full-time, 40 hrs/wk position scheduled by the Content Manager within Adventure Life business hours of 7AM-7PM Mountain Standard Time Monday through Friday. This position is fully remote.
