Developer/Software engineer

We are looking for a Mid-Level to Senior Developer to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). This role is perfect for someone with strong backend and frontend development skills, particularly in PHP, JavaScript, MongoDB, and ideally some experience with PostgreSQL & PocketBase.

You'll be working on a variety of projects, helping to improve our system’s architecture, optimize performance, and collaborate with our team in the UK.

???? Must-Have Skills & Experience

? Backend Development: Proficiency in PHP (Laravel or other frameworks), Node.js, and API development.
? Frontend Development: Strong skills in JavaScript (React, Vue.js, or Next.js preferred).
? Database Management: Experience with MongoDB, ideally some knowledge of PostgreSQL & PocketBase.
? Version Control & DevOps: Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
? Problem-Solving & Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot issues, optimize code, and improve performance.
? Remote Work & Communication: Strong English skills for documentation, updates, and team collaboration.

? Nice-to-Have Skills (Bonus)

? Microservices & APIs: Experience in building scalable, modular applications.
? Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Firebase, or DigitalOcean.
? Security Best Practices: Understanding of authentication, authorization, and data protection.
? Agile & Scrum Workflow: Experience with Trello, Jira, or other project management tools.

? Availability & Work Hours

Part-time role (20 hours/week).
Must have at least 4 hours of overlap with UK time zone (GMT).
Flexible schedule but must attend scheduled team check-ins or stand-up meetings.
