Developer (Technical SEO Fixes)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running regular technical audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues on our website, ensuring our online presence is optimised for search engines. This role requires a good understanding of server-side technologies, website maintenance and development to resolve ongoing website issues alongside the SEO specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
- Website maintenance and technical fixes for SEO.
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify issues affecting search engine crawlability, indexability, and search visibility.
- Collaborate with in-house web developers to implement SEO best practices in website design and development.
- Ensure that the website is mobile-friendly and adheres to accessibility standards.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to sitemap, robots.txt, canonical, security issues, duplicate content, broken links, redirection issues, crawl errors, google manual actions etc.
- Good understanding of tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Bing webmaster tools.
- Optimise the website for core web vitals, page speed and user experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with server-side technologies and website hosting environments.
- Good to have technical SEO understanding (but not required).
