Designer for Brand Development

SoHa Brands is a dynamic and growing company based in Hawaii, home to beloved lifestyle brands such as @sohaliving and @sohakeiki. We specialize in creating products that embody the beauty and spirit of the islands. We are looking for someone to focus product development for mainly gifts, accessories, and swim clothing for kids.

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Designer for Brand Development to join our team. This position offers the exciting opportunity to help develop new brands within our company, from ideation to product launch, while collaborating closely with our talented graphics team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of new brands under the SoHa Brands umbrella, including products in gifts, accessories, and swim clothing.

Take projects from ideation to execution, ensuring a cohesive brand identity and high-quality product offerings.

Design and oversee product packaging that aligns with the brand vision and appeals to the target market.

Collaborate with the graphics team to create graphics for products and packaging.

Conduct trend research and competitor analysis to inform brand strategies and product development.

Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines and production specifications.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and budgets.

Qualifications:

Strong background in graphic design and brand development.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Experience in product and packaging design from concept to execution.

Ability to translate brand identity into compelling visual designs.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Passion for design and a deep understanding of market trends in lifestyle products.

Preferred:

Experience in the lifestyle, fashion, or gift industry is a plus.

Familiarity with Hawaii's culture and lifestyle is a bonus.

Job Type:
Full-time (40 hours a week) Tuesday-Saturday 4am-1pm PHT preferred.

Pay Scale & Benefits:
Based on work experience or portfolio of previous work. Healthcare and internet benefits available.
