Designer (New York Market)

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Designer to join our Modern Shelving New York City team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, with a particular focus on urban markets like Manhattan and Brooklyn. You will be responsible for creating innovative and functional shelving designs tailored to the unique needs of our New York City clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and present design concepts for clients and trade partners in the Manhattan and Brooklyn markets.
• Collaborate with clients and trade professionals to understand their needs and preferences.
• Produce detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications.
• Ensure designs meet safety and building regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably in urban markets.
• Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong understanding of New York City market trends and preferences.
• Excellent English communication, Outgoing Personality and presentation skills.
