Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Specialist to join our team. This role involves verifying patient insurance, processing claims, and ensuring accurate and timely communication with insurance providers. The ideal candidate is experienced in dental insurance procedures, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Insurance Verification:
- Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits before appointments.
- Claims Management:
- Submit and process dental insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely payments and resolve discrepancies.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate with insurance providers to clarify coverage details and address issues.
- Collaborate with office staff to ensure accurate billing and seamless workflow.
- Record Maintenance:
- Maintain and update patient records with current insurance information and claim statuses.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience working in a dental office handling insurance-related tasks.
- Familiarity with dental insurance processes, including verification, claims submission, and follow-up.
- Experience with Open Dental and Vyne software is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements for handling protected health information (PHI)
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
