Dental Biller

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dental Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental billing, insurance claims processing, and account reconciliation. You will work closely with our dental team and insurance providers to ensure timely and accurate billing, as well as effective collections. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our practices while ensuring patients understand their financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Process and submit dental insurance claims accurately and promptly.
Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
Follow up on outstanding claims and unpaid balances with insurance companies and patients.
Post payments from insurance companies and patients to the appropriate accounts.
Review and address claim rejections, denials, and underpayments.
Generate and send patient statements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental billing codes (CPT, CDT) and insurance procedures.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and office policies.
Work closely with front office staff to ensure proper patient billing and documentation.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental billing or a related field.
Proficient in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, etc.) and insurance portals.
Knowledge of dental coding (CPT, CDT) and HIPAA regulations.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
