Key Responsibilities:
Demand Planning & Forecasting
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality factors.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust models based on performance analysis.
Stock & Inventory Management
• Ensure stock levels align with demand forecasts to avoid overstock or stock shortages.
• Work closely with procurement teams to manage replenishment schedules.
• Optimize inventory turnover and minimize holding costs.
• Maintain stock health by identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommending corrective actions.
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze historical sales trends, promotional impacts, and product lifecycle changes.
• Generate reports on stock levels, forecast accuracy, and supply chain efficiency.
• Identify risks and opportunities within inventory planning and propose data-driven solutions.
Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and manage lead times.
• Work with logistics and warehouse teams to improve stock availability and order fulfillment rates.
• Support cross-functional teams with data insights for new product launches and promotions.
Operations Support
• Assist Operations team with other adhoc tasks
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong analytical skills with experience in demand forecasting and stock management.
• Proficiency in inventory planning software (e.g., ERP, Excel, Power BI or etc tools).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics.
• Experience with statistical forecasting techniques and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing supply chains is a plus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Forecast accuracy percentage.
• Stock turnover ratio.
• Stockout and overstock percentage.
• Supplier lead time compliance.
