JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly skilled Delphi developer to work with our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to use their expertise and talent on existing and new projects.

We are a software company, specializing in software solutions for businesses that manage bookings and classes in the sports and leisure industries. We have been successfully operating for the past 18 years and are now seeking a committed, energetic and highly motivated individual to join our development team.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2+ years of experience of hands-on experience in Delphi development.
• Skills in both VCL and Firemonkey (FMX) frameworks.
• Experience with recent versions of Delphi (10 and above).
• Experience building both Windows and macOS applications.
• Experience with MySQL and is fluent in SQL.
• Experience with TMS controls (www.tmssoftware.com) would be helpful.
• Good communication skills and speaks English.
• Ability and interest in learning new technologies.
• Great attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Delphi
• Implement business logic, UI components, and database access layers.
• Work with databases like MySQL, SQL to create data-driven applications
• Analyze and improve the performance of Delphi applications.
• Use version control systems to manage code changes.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in code reviews, and assist QA as required.
• Package and deploy applications to production environments.
• Integrate third-party APIs and develop custom components.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to applications post-release.

The candidate will work remotely and be liaising with staff in Melbourne, Australia so will be willing to work within Australian standard eastern time. The job will require the candidate to work 40 hours per week.
