Job Summary:
The Data & Reporting Specialist will be responsible for managing and analyzing data within the Property Management team. This role requires expertise in Google Sheets, data visualization, and report generation to support decision-making and optimize operations. The ideal candidate will assist with tracking key performance metrics, automating reporting processes, and ensuring data accuracy across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Analysis
Organize, maintain, and analyze large datasets related to property management.
Use Google Sheets (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data validation) to structure and manage data.
Identify trends, patterns, and insights from collected data.
Report Creation & Automation
Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on rental income, expenses, vendor performance, and occupancy rates.
Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Google Sheets formulas and scripts.
Create dashboards and visual reports to present insights clearly to stakeholders.
Operational Support & Accuracy
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various platforms and reports.
Collaborate with the Property Management team to track payments, maintenance costs, and lease statuses.
Provide ad hoc reports and data summaries to assist in strategic decision-making.
Collaboration & Communication
Work with different teams to interpret data needs and provide relevant insights.
Support process improvements by suggesting ways to optimize data handling and reporting.
Assist in creating templates and guides for tea
Requirements & Qualifications:
Proficiency in Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation, charts, and automation tools like App Scripts is a plus).
Experience in data analysis, reporting, or administrative roles with a strong focus on numbers and trends.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial or operational data.
Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical tea
Experience in property management or real estate is a plus but not required.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
Familiarity with Asana, G Suite, and Microsoft Teams.
Experience with data visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.).
Understanding of property management metrics and reporting.
Work Environment:
Remote position with collaboration via virtual meetings and digital tools.
Must be available to meet deadlines and provide reports within set timelines.
