Remote Data Entry Clerk – Credit Card Charges Specialist

Position Overview:
Goodness Gardens is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Clerk to focus on accurately entering and auditing credit card charges within our NetSuite environment. The role involves working with multiple subsidiaries and charge accounts, ensuring that all transactions are accurately identified, classified, reconciled, and recorded. The ideal candidate will leverage NetSuite’s bank matching functionality to streamline reconciliation processes while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry & Classification:
• Accurately enter credit card charges into NetSuite across multiple charge accounts and subsidiaries.
• Properly classify charges using Goodness Gardens’ chart of accounts to ensure alignment with company financial practices.
2. Audit & Reconciliation:
• Review credit card charges for accuracy, identifying discrepancies or unusual items.
• Utilize NetSuite’s built-in bank matching functionality to reconcile transactions against bank and credit card statements.
• Investigate and resolve mismatches or outstanding issues.
3. Reporting & Communication:
• Generate reconciliation reports and summaries as required.
• Communicate with internal teams (finance, operations, purchasing) to clarify or validate charges as needed.
4. Process Improvement:
• Proactively identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to streamline credit card charge management.
• Maintain organized records for audit and reporting purposes.

Qualifications:
• Experience:
• 1-2 years of experience in data entry, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related fields.
• Experience working in NetSuite (required) and utilizing bank matching functionality is a strong plus.
• Skills:
• Exceptional attention to detail with high data accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Ability to handle and manage large volumes of credit card transactions across multiple subsidiaries.
• Competencies:
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical Requirements:
• Stable high-speed internet connection.
