THE JOB
As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our data science and machine learning initiatives by normalizing, cleaning, and validating complex datasets. Your responsibilities will include data extraction, transformation, storage, and quality checks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data pipelines are optimized, secure, and scalable, enabling the success of our innovative platform.


Responsibilities

Develop and implement processes to normalize and standardize raw data for consistency and scalability.
Conduct thorough quality checks and create validation rules to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Automate data cleaning processes and address issues such as missing or inconsistent entries.
Organize, store, and maintain datasets, ensuring compliance with security and performance standards.
Leverage financial data expertise to enhance data quality and insights for analytics.
Implement and manage data annotation workflows using annotation tools to support machine learning models.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics, machine learning, and big data.
Proactively improve data processes, tools, and techniques to enhance operational efficiency.


Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Proven experience in data analysis, including cleaning, normalization, and validation.
Expertise in handling and analyzing financial data.
Experience with data annotation and proficiency in data annotation tools.
Familiarity with data storage solutions (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and the FinTech industry.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with expertise in handling JSON files and unstructured data.
• Experience with geospatial data and tools like GeoPandas or QGIS is a strong plus.
