Cyber/Website Security Expert

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Website Security Expert to ensure the security of our websites, which contain sensitive data. Your primary role will be to protect our websites from potential cyberattacks, ensure data integrity, and keep our web assets secure from hackers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web security, data protection, and up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity threats and defense strategies.
Responsibilities:
-Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
-Identify and mitigate potential security threats.
-Develop and enforce security policies and best practices.
-Manage incident response and disaster recovery plans.
-Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
-Provide security training and advice to staff members.
-Collaborate with the IT team to maintain overall infrastructure security.
-Secure our websites to prevent hacking attempts and data breaches.
-Protect sensitive data and ensure that proper encryption protocols are in place.
-Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments of the websites.
-Implement measures to safeguard websites from common threats (e.g., SQL injection, XSS, etc.).
-Continuously monitor the websites for potential vulnerabilities or unauthorized access attempts.
-Set up and configure web application firewalls (WAFs) and other protective measures.
-Collaborate with developers to ensure secure coding practices.
-Respond swiftly to any security incidents and perform incident forensics.
-Keep the websites compliant with relevant data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
-Stay updated on the latest hacking techniques and cybersecurity best practices to anticipate potential threats.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in website security, cybersecurity, or a related field (3+ years preferred).
-Expertise in securing websites with sensitive data.
-Strong knowledge of web security best practices.
-Experience with tools for vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and real-time monitoring.
-Familiarity with web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, etc.) and secure coding principles.
-Experience with web application firewalls (WAFs), intrusion detection systems, and incident response.
-Understanding of various attack vectors (DDoS, XSS, SQL injection, etc.) and how to defend against them.
