JOB OVERVIEW

Adventure Life is a leader in small ship cruises and tailor made trips around the world. Based in the United States, we are now hiring a Lead Support agent. Work on a team of other Lead Support agents handling the inquiry volume, as well as helping out with other content projects as needed. The company is based in Montana and works on MT time. Be prepared to work a 7 AM to 3:30 MT scheduled (with 30 minute unpaid break). Prefer candidates who are accustomed to a night shift and have proven work history that they can properly manage a regular sleep schedule on a night shift.

Duties include answering live phone calls, chats for booked travelers and new inquiries and sending first response emails to our new customers to qualify the leads. Other projects and duties may include photo tagging, discounts, rate data entry and other website edits as needed.

Expectations:
*Must register as an Independent Contractor with the Bureau of International Revenue in the Philippines.
*Requires 40 hours per week during our US office hours, typically M-F 7am to 4pm Mountain Time. with 1 hour unpaid break per shift.
*Required to provide your fast internet access that meets the company’s requirements (min 25 mbps), with possible backup internet highly recommended.
*Required to purchase and maintain your own computer hardware that meets the company’s requirements including noise-canceling headphones.
*Must have a quiet workspace in your home
*Experience with the cloud platforms we use is helpful - GMail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Salesforce CRM, RingCentral Phone, Zoom Meetings, Cliq Messenger, Skype.

Excellent English skills, both oral and written, are paramount for efficient communication with customers via email, phone, and online chat. The successful candidate must be organized to address hundreds of accounts at once, handling multi-tasking and various interruptions throughout the day.

The Initial contract period will be 3 months, but may be extended into a year-long contract with a demonstration of success. Our last person in the role has been with us almost three years. $6-$6.50 per hour DOE.
