About Us:
Appaid is a dedicated social security advocacy group committed to assisting individuals with disabilities who are unable to work full-time. Our mission is to provide support and guidance throughout the application process for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) to ensure our clients receive the benefits they deserve.


Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service & Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves handling various customer service and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and be adaptable to evolving responsibilities based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Answer inbound phone calls, address inquiries, and provide appropriate assistance.
Review voicemails, document important details, and notify relevant agents accordingly.
Manage and respond to inbound emails in a timely and professional manner.
Receive and process inbound faxes, ensuring accurate documentation.
Send outbound emails and follow up as needed to support operational tasks.
Transmit outbound faxes as required, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Maintain and update records, ensuring all communications are documented properly.
Perform ad hoc duties and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities may evolve based on the needs of the client, including new tasks as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in customer service or administrative support is REQUIRED.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in email management, phone handling, and fax processing.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with office software and communication tools is a plus (Zendesk, Salesforce, Gmail).
