Role Overview:
We are looking for an Onboarding Specialist to assist in guiding our customers through a seamless onboarding process. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of coordinating between multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are completed efficiently. You’ll be an essential part of scaling our onboarding processes and creating exceptional customer experiences.

Salary Range: $6–$9 per hour

Work Schedule:
Full-time position (40 hours per week)
Work hours: Mondays to Fridays, 9AM - 5PM Eastern Standard Time

Daily Responsibilities:
Work directly with the Customer Operations Lead and collaborate with engineering, sales and product teams, to ensure a seamless and successful customer journey.
Manage onboarding checklists in Retool, ensuring tasks are completed and status updates are accurate.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address project blockers and next steps.
Document trading partner profiles, including contact details, connectivity steps, and unique nuances, in a centralized system.
Update Notion project pages with comments on blockers, milestones, and progress.
Create and maintain reusable email templates for common onboarding inquiries.
Proactively communicate updates and priorities to customers and team members.

Minimum Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in onboarding, customer success, or project coordination roles.
Proficiency with tools such as Front, Slack, Retool, Notion, Jira, and HubSpot (or similar platforms).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with EDI concepts or working in the supply chain industry (e.g., EDI 850, 856, 810).
Experience in B2B SaaS environments
Experience with SMB clients

Soft Skills:
Quick learner, with the ability to adapt to new tools and workflows.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Open to learning and contributing to process improvements.
