Cross-platform Mobile App Developer Needed for Rental Management MVP

Job Overview:
We're building a mobile-first rental management app targeting small landlords (1-5 units). Our mission is to simplify rental management by blending intuitive educational content with core rental management functionalities. We're looking for a proactive, skilled developer from the Philippines to help bring our MVP to life.
Responsibilities:

- Develop and deploy a mobile-friendly web app (MVP) with features including user authentication, educational content dashboard, property management tools, tenant screening, rent tracking, and lease management
- Build financial analysis tools specific to the Texas rental market
Implement a content management system for educational resources
- Collaborate closely to refine UX/UI based on provided wireframes and specifications
- Ensure app responsiveness, usability, and overall quality across devices
- Set up secure database architecture for storing user and property information
- Provide regular updates, communicate clearly, and meet agreed deadlines

Required Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in mobile application development
- At least one app deployed in app stores or available online
- Demonstrated experience with at least 2 completed mobile applications (preferably related to business management or financial tools)
- At least 1 year working with React Native or Flutter for cross-platform development
- Experience building and deploying complete applications (not just component work)
- Prior experience with financial calculation implementations or content management systems is strongly preferred

Technical Requirements:
- Strong experience with React, React Native, or Flutter for cross-platform mobile development
- Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or similar frameworks
- Experience with database design and management (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Firebase)
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
- Version control skills (Git)
- Understanding of authentication and security best practices

- Excellent communication skills and English fluency
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive problem-solver
- Able to overlap at least 2-3 hours with CST (Houston, Texas, USA) for regular check-ins
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Creative
