Creative Video Editor for YouTube Channel

We are seeking a talented and creative video editor to join our team for a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the voice and tone of financial topics delivered through our YouTube channel. This role requires someone who can captivate audiences with dynamic editing techniques, engaging onscreen overlays, and visually appealing elements without resorting to clickbait tactics.

Responsibilities:
- Edit both long-form and short-form video content for our YouTube channel.
- Utilize dynamic editing techniques to enhance viewer engagement.
- Create eye-catching thumbnails that align with YouTube's algorithm to maximize viewer retention.
- Incorporate onscreen overlays and visual elements that complement the content.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure videos align with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Content scheduling across Tik Tok, Instagram Reels and other syndication channels based on content distribution strategy.
- Maintain a consistent production schedule, delivering high-quality videos weekly: one long-form video, three short-form videos, five YouTube Shorts, and one live session per week, optionally using our tool opus.pro to optimize workflows.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a video editor, particularly in creating engaging online content.
- Strong understanding of the YouTube platform and its algorithm.
- Ability to create compelling thumbnails that attract viewers.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through video.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Opus Clips, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
