JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Creative Studio Assistant eager to contribute to video production, social media, and design, enhancing our studio's creative efforts and overall influence. We are a vibrant publishing studio dedicated to creating impactful content, building a strong online presence, and connecting with our audience through creative storytelling and engaging visuals.

Part-time (20 hours per week) with flexibility for hybrid hours (some overlap with US Mountain time zones preferred).

Job duties and responsibilities::

1. Content Creation and Editing:
- Assist in creating and editing video content, with a focus on platforms like Opus Clip.
- Design engaging thumbnails and graphics using Photoshop and Canva.

2. Social Media Management:
- Manage and schedule social media posts using tools like Buffer.
- Monitor and engage with community comments to foster interaction and growth.
- Assist with social media strategy development and platform growth initiatives.

3. Content Organization and Publishing:
- Organize and maintain content libraries on Google Drive or Dropbox.
- Publish and schedule videos, podcasts, and other content on platforms such as YouTube and Buzzsprout.
- Utilize ChatGPT for brainstorming content ideas, creating captions, and generating copy.

4. Administrative Support:
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring tasks.
- Record workflows and training materials using Loom to support onboarding and collaboration.

5. Potential Future Tasks:
- Advanced social media management, including strategy development and growth.
- Deeper involvement in community engagement on social platforms.
- Assisting with analytics reporting and content performance reviews.


Qualifications:
- Strong skills in video editing and graphic design, with experience using tools like Opus Clip, Photoshop, and Canva.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools like Buffer.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Creativity and a collaborative mindset with a passion for content creation.
- Ability to work part-time with flexibility for hybrid hours.
