Budget: $9 - $10/hour
Shift Schedule: 4pm to 7PM PST - Flexibility on the remaining hours

The Creative Strategy Manager is responsible for driving and evolving the brand’s creative vision and digital presence. This role leads creative initiatives, develops compelling campaigns, and ensures brand messaging resonates across all platforms. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of strategic thinking, creative excellence, and industry expertise to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

Objectives of this role:
• Develop and execute creative strategies aligned with brand identity and business objectives.
• Enhance brand storytelling and visual presence across all digital platforms.
• Lead marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
• Analyze consumer insights to optimize brand positioning and campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Creative Strategy & Brand Development:
• Develop and refine creative strategies to strengthen brand identity and market positioning.
• Identify and incorporate emerging beauty and digital trends into brand initiatives.
• Create and manage seasonal campaign concepts, mood boards, and visual storytelling approaches.

Content & Campaign Execution:
• Oversee the development of engaging content across social media, website, and marketing materials.
• Ensure brand voice consistency across all digital and offline channels.
• Collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers, and content creators to produce high-quality assets.
• Optimize content strategies for multiple digital platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Brand Management & Creative Direction:
• Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive and impactful brand presence.
• Develop detailed creative briefs that align with marketing and business objectives.
• Oversee the brand’s visual evolution while preserving its core identity.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Lead and mentor creative team members while managing external agency relationships.
• Work closely with Product Development, Marketing, and Digital teams to align creative efforts.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely execution.

Consumer Insights & Market Trends:
• Leverage market research and analytics to refine creative strategies and improve engagement.
• Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Implement innovative storytelling techniques to enhance brand resonance.

Required skills and qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in creative strategy, graphic design, or brand marketing, preferably in beauty/cosmetics.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
• Strong understanding of beauty industry trends and multicultural marketing.
• Proficiency in creative and analytical tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media analytics).
• Expertise in email marketing with strong copywriting skills; Klaviyo proficiency is a bonus.
• Ability to create and manage a centralized Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
• Experience managing creative teams and external partners.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Preferred skills and qualifications
• Experience with influencer marketing and content creator partnerships.
• Ability to translate data insights into creative strategies.
• Understanding of clean beauty and sustainable practices.
• Amazon experience is not required but is preferred.
