JOB OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a highly organized, creative, and results-driven Creative Director & Video Ad Operations Manager to help us build and manage a robust content machine for producing winning video ads. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the entire ad creation process—from concept to final delivery—by collaborating with copywriters, video producers, and media buyers. This role requires someone who can take a high-performing ad as inspiration, coordinate team members to replicate and improve on it, then ensure that each ad is thoroughly tested and tracked for performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership
- Research and identify winning video ads for inspiration and reference.
- Collaborate with copywriters to refine or rewrite scripts, ensuring the narrative is clear, compelling, and aligned with brand messaging.
- Break down storyboards scene by scene, providing clear direction to video producers or editors.

Project & Operations Management
- Organize and systematize the entire ad production process—script writing, storyboard creation, video production, post-production, and ad launch.
- Develop timelines and ensure all stakeholders (copywriter, videographer, editor, etc.) meet deadlines.
- Manage the budget for video production, keeping costs in check while maintaining high-quality outputs.
Quality Control & Review

- Review all creative deliverables—scripts, rough cuts, final edits—and provide feedback to ensure top-notch video ads.
- Ensure the final ads align with strategic objectives, brand guidelines, and performance goals.

Coordination with Media Buyers
- Collaborate with media buyers to ensure ads are launched on schedule, with accurate tracking and targeting setups.
- Monitor campaign performance data and analytics, providing insights on how to optimize future video ads.

Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze the performance of each ad to identify areas of improvement.
- Implement a feedback loop to iterate on scriptwriting, production quality, and creative direction for future ads.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video advertising, leveraging new techniques to keep content fresh and effective.



Qualifications

Experience:
- Proven track record in creative direction or project management, preferably with direct response marketing and/or video ad production.
- Demonstrable experience overseeing end-to-end video ad creation.

Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
Proficiency in or familiarity with tools for project management (Trello, Asana, Monday.com, or similar).
Familiarity with basic video editing software or workflow (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.) is a plus (not necessarily editing yourself, but understanding the process).
Knowledge of digital marketing metrics, A/B testing, and analytics reporting.
Creative & Analytical Mindset:

Ability to transform a winning concept into multiple variations for testing.
Strong sense of storytelling and visual aesthetics.
Comfortable interpreting performance data to inform creative decisions.
Communication:

Fluent in written and spoken English.
Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with international team members, provide clear directions, and give concise feedback.
Comfortable collaborating with remote teams (copywriters, designers, video editors, media buyers).
