About the Role:
We’re looking for a versatile and imaginative Creative Designer & Visual Storyteller to join our growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in combining bold visuals with strategic design, creating content that connects with audiences in authentic and impactful ways.
Our organization is dedicated to empowering youth through music and mental wellness initiatives, and we need a designer who can confidently lead the creative side of campaigns, content, and resources.
We’re looking for someone who can craft designs that feel vibrant, youthful, and engaging — blending playful yet purposeful visuals that resonate with Gen Z and young millennials.
This role will focus on developing visuals that support our campaign branding, digital content, and community engagement efforts. As our organization expands, there’s potential for this role to evolve into a Creative Lead or Design Director position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Design & Branding
Conceptualize and design bold, visually compelling campaign identities.
Develop creative assets that combine powerful messaging with energetic, eye-catching visuals.
Create promotional materials like posters, flyers, and merch graphics that reflect each campaign’s aesthetic.
2. Digital Content Creation
Design vibrant, engaging social media graphics, including carousels, infographics, and short-form video overlays.
Develop branded templates for recurring content such as newsletters, social posts, and partnership materials.
Create multi-page PDFs, toolkits, and educational resources for fan engagement, mental wellness education, and community-building efforts.
Design impactful visuals for
Ensure all content is optimized for both desktop and mobile platforms.
3. Visual Strategy & Creative Development
Collaborate with the leadership team to shape creative concepts for new initiatives.
Brainstorm fresh visual ideas that reflect a vibrant, relatable, and empowering aesthetic.
Identify design trends and ensure our content remains relevant and engaging for our audience.
4. Brand Consistency
Develop and maintain a comprehensive Brand Guide that defines our color palette, typography, logo usage, and creative tone.
Ensure all designs align with our bold and energetic brand identity.
Refine and elevate existing visuals as we transition into our updated Superbands 2.0 identity.
5. Creative Project Management
Plan and manage design timelines to ensure campaigns launch on time.
Create efficient workflows for design requests, reviews, and approvals.

We need someone who’s not just technically skilled — but someone who understands how to tell a story through design. You should be a creative thinker with the ability to translate abstract ideas into powerful visuals.

Ideal Candidate Profile
? Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) — Canva experience is helpful, but this role requires strong design fundamentals.
? Experienced in creating multi-page PDFs, toolkits, and educational resources.
? Confident developing campaign branding — including color palettes, typography, and logo design.
? Comfortable designing social media content that drives engagement.
? Skilled in visual storytelling — with the ability to create designs that inspire emotion and connection.
? Strong communicator — comfortable presenting ideas, giving and receiving feedback, and working collaboratively with leadership.
? Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
? Passionate about mental health, music, or youth empowerment is a big plus.

Time Commitment & Structure
Part-time with flexible scheduling (work on your own time with occasional overlap with EST time to discuss with CEO as needed)
Potential to expand to a Creative Lead or Design Director role as our organization grows.
Must be comfortable working independently and proactively communicating progress.
