Core Responsibilities
Model Development & Refinement
Algorithm Design & Optimization: Design, enhance, and refine algorithmic models to align with project objectives and client-specific data requirements.
Iterative Improvements: Continuously evaluate and improve model performance through simulations, real-world data testing, and robust validation processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, software engineers, and the Cost Segregation team to align algorithmic capabilities with broader system functionality and user needs.
Issue Resolution
Critical Issue Response: Address high-priority algorithm-related issues (e.g., calculation errors, logic flaws, incorrect outputs) promptly to maintain system integrity and prevent disruptions.
Systematic Bug Management: Resolve non-urgent bugs and implement feature enhancements as part of the ongoing model improvement cycle, ensuring continuous advancement.
Client Feedback & Collaboration
Feedback Integration: Investigate and resolve client-reported issues by processing feedback, clarifying suggestions, and implementing approved algorithmic modifications.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and internal teams, providing timely updates and transparent explanations of issue resolutions.
Back-End Configurations & Deployment
Large-Scale Updates: Manage configurations across multiple organizations, such as updating depreciation methods to ensure uniform application and compliance.
Integration & Deployment: Support the seamless integration of algorithmic models into production environments, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Testing & Debugging
Functional Testing: Conduct rigorous tests on algorithms to evaluate performance, efficiency, and reliability in real-world scenarios.
Debugging & Documentation: Identify, debug, and document both algorithm-related and system-wide issues, enabling continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Standards & Research
Algorithmic Standards Maintenance: Regularly review and refine algorithmic standards, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment with industry best practices.
Innovation & Research: Stay updated on the latest advancements in algorithmic development, leveraging cutting-edge techniques and tools to enhance model performance.
Project Management Support
Tool Optimization: Assist in managing project workflows using tools like Asana, ensuring tasks are well-organized, timelines are met, and progress is effectively tracked.
Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and report on progress, challenges, and outcomes.
Candidate Profile
Basic Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Professional Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Construction Cost Estimation, Quantity Surveying, or MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) design services.
Technical Skills:
Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and efficiency.
Proficiency in college-level mathematics, with the ability to apply logical and quantitative reasoning.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools like Asana or equivalent.
