Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain control systems that ensure seamless operation of equipment and processes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to implement innovative control solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop control systems for new and existing equipment, including PLC, SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems.
Create control algorithms, logic diagrams, and user interfaces to automate processes.
Program and configure PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems for automated equipment and process control.
Conduct system integration, testing, and commissioning to ensure proper installation and functionality.
Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, specifications, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, user manuals, and operation guides.
Provide technical support and training to end-users and maintenance teams.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in control systems engineering.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in control systems design, programming, and implementation.
Preferred qualifications in networking and IT.
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is a plus.
Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric) and familiarity with SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems.
Strong understanding of process control theory, PID tuning, and instrumentation.
Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of safety standards (e.g., SIL, IEC 61508) and experience with safety instrumented systems is advantageous.
Work Schedule:
Full-time availability is required from 8 AM - 5 PM EST.

A reliable high-speed internet connection is essential.
Compensation:
Hourly rate is competitive and based on experience, typically ranging from $6-$10 per hour.
