Contracting & Credentialing Specialist

We are a growing mental health practice based in California and we are looking for a highly organized and proactive specialist to manage provider licensing, insurance credentialing, and contract negotiations. You’ll collaborate with our leadership team to expand our insurance contracts and help our providers stay compliant with licensing regulations.

Key Responsibilities

-Manage provider licensing – Assist with obtaining and maintaining licenses in multiple states.
-Credentialing & contracting – Complete applications and negotiate contracts with insurance companies.
-Track deadlines & renewals – Keep up-to-date records of licenses, contracts, and required documents.
-Resolve credentialing issues – Communicate with insurance companies and state boards to troubleshoot delays.
-Stay up to date on regulations – Research state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements.

What We’re Looking For

-Experience in credentialing, contracting, or healthcare administration (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of insurance companies & provider licensing processes (a plus!).
- Strong attention to detail – You love keeping things organized and on schedule.
-Excellent communication skills – Comfortable reaching out to insurers and state boards.
- Tech-savvy – Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using credentialing platforms.

Bonus Skills

Experience working with mental health providers.
Familiarity with commercial insurance credentialing processes.
