JOB OVERVIEW

### Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Content Factory Manager to oversee and execute a comprehensive strategy to boost our educational content across multiple digital platforms. This role involves managing a Content Library, setting up and monitoring "dollar a day" ad campaigns, and ensuring our content reaches and engages our target audience effectively. Our main focus is on home service business owners and local businesses in Google LSA categories, with the goal of establishing thought leadership and driving mid-funnel engagement.

### Responsibilities:

- Regularly update and maintain our Content Library, housed in a Google Sheet, with all materials including but not limited to YouTube videos, podcast interviews, and teaching sessions.
- Identify high-performing content for ad boosting based on engagement metrics and relevance to target audience segments.
- Develop and execute ad campaigns across platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, tailored to defined audience segments.
- Monitor ad performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize reach and engagement.
- Provide regular reports on ad campaign performance and insights into content engagement.
- Continuously refine our ad strategy based on performance data and feedback.
- Work closely with our team to integrate the ad boosting process with our broader Content Factory operations.

### Requirements:

- Proven experience in digital marketing and ad campaign management, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with the real estate and home services industries.
- Proficiency in managing and analyzing data within Google Sheets or similar platforms.
- Ability to develop clear, step-by-step guides for ad setup and optimization.
- Excellent analytical skills to track ad performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide concise, regular updates.
- Must understand MAA (Google "digital marketer optimize like a champ" for my article on this critical technique.
- Independent worker capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

### Unique Qualifications

1. In your application, include the phrase "Content is King" to demonstrate your attention to detail and understanding of digital marketing principles.
2. Share an example of how you've optimized a digital ad campaign in the past, specifically highlighting your approach to targeting adjustments and budget allocation. Include the color of the sky in your response to confirm your thorough reading of this job description.

### Additional Notes:

- This is a remote position with flexible hours, but regular check-ins will be required.
- We value creativity, diligence, and a data-driven approach to digital marketing.
- Our team is committed to providing educational value in the digital marketing space, and we expect our Content Factory Manager to share this commitment.

More information:
I was thinking about running dollar a day ads against YouTube videos where other people have interviewed me. There are many mid-size channels that have me on their podcasts, speaking, teaching, etc... And I think that if I target their audience, this could be a great way to drive more mid-funnel engagement that could eventually lead to more people buying my $200 Are You Googleable report.

For example, I have a masterclass in digital marketing with Tom Ferry, which did get 55,000 views on YouTube. But we could reach so many more real estate agents with paid, not relying upon organic only.

I understand that these are just educational videos-- no direct call to action. But my goal is thought leadership, since I know that enough people reach out from watching this long form content. And this has been the crux of my career-- to teach openly.

Any questions you have for me or information you need to advise me properly, please ask.

I want to devise a strategy to run my own dollar a day against my materials everywhere (not just YouTube)-- and the instructions need to be so simple that a reasonably intelligent VA can follow the instructions you write to execute.

I do have a Content Library, which is a Google Sheet with my top pieces of content. Send an email to hiring@yourcontentfactory.com with the subject line "Factory" with your application. But even this is incomplete and poorly updated, so I hope I can also use chatGPT (with smart VAs) to update the content to be boosted and then boost-- ideally by the same VA to have efficiency and no "wheelbarrow race" issues.

In other words, I want to execute my own Content Factory process on our materials.

Our main target is home service business owners, followed by any local business in a Google LSA category. Make sure you attach a 1-minute video in your application (can be longer, up to 4 minutes), explaining why you're fit for this role.
