Position Overview:

The Content & Copywriting Specialist is responsible for combining creative storytelling with persuasive writing to drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions across BAZIC Products’ marketing channels. This position focuses on creating high-quality, value-driven content and crafting compelling copy that aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives. The ideal candidate is a versatile writer who excels in both long-form content (blogs, articles) and short-form, action-oriented copy (ads, product descriptions).

Duties & Responsibilities

Content Creation: Develop engaging blog posts, how-to guides, educational articles, and event recaps to drive brand engagement and provide value to target audiences.
Copywriting: Creating concise, accurate, compelling, and persuasive copy for product packaging , advertisements, email campaigns, SMS campaigns, and landing pages, ensuring alignment with the brand’s tone and objectives that resonate with target audiences to evoke an emotional response.
Content Strategy & Management: Maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content and collaboration with other teams for cohesive execution.
E-commerce Support: Create and optimize product listings for www.bazicstore.com and online marketplaces such as Amazon and Walmart, focusing on clarity and SEO to maximize visibility and conversion.
Graphic Team Collaboration: Partner with graphic designers to create cohesive campaigns by aligning written content with visual elements.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of content and copy, using metrics to optimize future initiatives and improve engagement.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Conduct keyword research and apply SEO principles to enhance search engine rankings for written content.
User-Generated Content (UGC): Curate and repurpose user-generated content for marketing campaigns, ensuring authenticity and alignment with brand messaging.
Campaign Brainstorming & Execution: Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop creative ideas for campaigns and ensure their seamless execution.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the marketing team’s objectives and enhance overall brand success.
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, and project/event management, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
Exceptional command of English, with strong grammar and writing skills.
Familiarity with branding, marketing principles, and consumer psychology.
Proficiency in editing tools and software, such as Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, or other relevant platforms.
Proven experience in managing event logistics, timelines, and activation plans in marketing.
Familiarity with email and SMS marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or Attentive to create, execute, and analyze campaigns.
Proficient in WordPress for publishing and managing blog content, with strong writing skills to create engaging posts and recaps.
Experience in Airtable or similar platforms for managing projects, schedules, and resources efficiently.
Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to align content with brand voice and create compelling, story-driven narratives.
Basic knowledge of SEO principles to optimize written content for search engines and improve visibility.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Experience collecting and analyzing data from marketing initiatives to provide actionable insights for strategy optimization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Quick adaptability to new tools, platforms, and evolving marketing trends and practices.
Flexible availability to travel and attend marketing events, including some weekends.
Ability to work onsite in Monrovia, CA (no hybrid/remote options available).
